Hey guys,

What is the state of development of binkd right now ? Who is developer(s) ? And
finally where can I get the latest snapshot of sources?

Thanks!

There's also an unofficial GIT repository ... it loosely follows the CVS
repository. [I am thinking about automating it though]

Actually, I thought you already had it automated...<g>

I've done some experimentation with creating a git repository that includes
the BinkD Debian packages (which goes back to v0.9.2) as well as a branch
being updated from your master branch there at GitHub (most recent I have is
"Update A1" by stas on 10 Feb). Haven't entirely decided how I'm going to
organize it, which is why I haven't made it public as yet; one of the main
reasons I'm doing a repository for BinkD is for Debian packaging (at least for
my own use, although I'd also like to help with the actual packaging for
Debian), so that needs something like debian and upstream branches. But then
there's also all of the newer work, such as what you've made available in your
repo...

I'm just too lazy ... and I'm following the development anyway.

Good idea to have an updated BinkD into Debian.

Hmm, there's nothing fancy in my repo as I've checked in most/all of it into
the official CVS.

Ah, but it has the advantage that you already have it that way and you
have it publically available, which means that if I use that then other people
would be able to reference the same commits.

Okay. The latest binary at http://binkd.grumbler.org/standard/ was compiled in
2006 so I thought project is dead :)

There's even some light at the end of the tunnel for a version 1.0.
