That's one way to do it. I remember SEan Dennis talking
about a similar desire for his Maximus system, iirc under
binkd as well.

DUmb question, but ...

DOes binkd do the busy flags thing as binkleyterm does? IF
so, and it places them in a special directory, couldn't the
program that slices/dices manipulates logs or the routine
rather look for the absence of .bsy or other similar
semaphores? if any are found, don't process?

Or, ...

Every hour, or other period of time, append that log to a
file which is the actual master log for that day? Then,
slice/dice/puree/manipulate master log once daily, user's
choice.

IT all hinges on knowing when binkd isn't connected to
anybody I guess. <oops> But, maybe I've given somebody
some ideas anyway. SOrry for the interruption.

Regards,
Richard
