yes, i know you guys have probably already go to town about this but i just
gotta say it too...

dang what a load of regurgitation... some all the way from back in 2006... i
wrote a few replies before realizing this... still have some 300 or so to wade
thru :? :(

Good thing we don't do POTS anymore. The biggest bundle I got was 39MB
compressed (203MB raw), and that wasn't the only one. Luckily a bug in one of
my scripts resulted in it being ignored until another script warned me of the
old file sitting in the inbound, so my message base avoided most of the damage.

yeah, no doubt! i was rather shocked when my report showed me 9 or 10 16Meg
PKTs that were processed...

every one of them that could be was imported into my message area... they all
had new dates and control lines :(

I'm guessing a corrupt JAM base or a very naughty tosser (mail or otherwise)
that's messing with metadata that's never supposed to be modified.
